ENAM Securities Private Limited, India

ENAM had over 126 servers deployed all over Mumbai. ENAM decided to completely overhaul its IT infrastructure by bringing together all its resources into a new state-of-the art fully-equipped datacenter in Mumbai. Virtualization was at the core of this strategy.

The solution suggested by Pentagon included VMware® vSphere. Pentagon deployed 10 DELL servers, hosting 54 virtual servers. Virtualization has facilitated the creation of an off-site DR center as well. ENAM now enjoys 100% application up time.

A Reputed On-line Shopping Channel

Pentagon has, as its client, one of India’s largest online shopping channels, a joint venture between two of Asia’s largest e-retail companies. This channel reaches out to a wide array of consumers across India and provides unparalleled service and convenience of shopping from the comfort of their homes. Our client needed to make its services even more customer-centric. The goal was to set up a system that responded to customer requests in the fastest possible way and met business demands

Pentagon analysed their existing infrastructure and suggested a migration of infrastructure from Intel to Unix with Oracle database. To enable the platform to handle the increasing workload requirements and offering faster response times, Pentagon set up clustered servers with Storage infrastructure as architecture design. There was a 20%-30% faster response with Unix architecture. Our solution contributed to decreasing the online transaction time around 15%-20%.
